Justin Sauls practices in the areas of business law, real estate transactions and estate planning/probate law:

Business Law

  • Handles company/partnership formation and planning, mergers and acquisitions, business succession planning, partnership/shareholder gridlock and dispute
  • Drafts and negotiates key employee agreements, non-compete/non-disclosure agreements, joint venture documents, shareholder/unit holder agreements and other related corporate agreements
  • Handles civil litigation as it pertains to breach of contract, collections and employment related matters 
  • Represents private and publicly traded companies in the areas of corporate governance, drafting of minutes/written consents, corporate diligence, tax, securities, consumer finance and regulatory compliance
  • Represents companies and consumers in FDCPA, TILA and UDAAP related matters, e.g., debt settlement, credit repair and debt collection 

Real Estate

  • Represents commercial real estate developers, builders, landlords, tenants, property managers, and HOAs/COAs in a range of commercial and residential real estate transactions and other construction law related matters
  • Handles lease review and negotiation, landlord/tenant issues, general contractor/subcontractor contract disputes, mechanic’s and materialman’s lien issues, and property owners association governance and foreclosure
  • Represents lenders and consumers in residential and commercial real estate financing transactions and other related matters

Estate Planning/Probate Law

  • Handles will probate and contest, letters testamentary, heirship declaration, independent and dependent estate administration, muniment of title, affidavit of heirship, small estate administration and family settlements
  • Handles trust administration, probate administration, estate and trust litigation and related tax matters
  • Provides representation for clients in temporary and permanent guardianship matters and has served as a court appointed attorney ad litem in heirship and guardianship matters
  • Represents clients in preparing estate plans, revocable living trusts, irrevocable trusts, testamentary trusts, special needs trusts, etc.
